A murder of crows

Every year, near the end of winter, a fierce storm visits the woods and hills that surround Manoir de Triste. The wind howls around the turrets and down the chimneys, causing the grand fire in Ottoline's work room to flicker and dance.
Sadly for the creatures in the woods, there are many casualties. Nests are swept from trees, underground burrows are unearthed and large oaks crash down to earth, bring thier occupants with them.
Ottoline scours the forest floor, looking for furry or feathered friends who have not survived. Today's treasure, a basket of crows. Many a late night has been spent infront of the fire, stitching by candelabra. Three crows have been collared and draped in the finest gowns and buttons and will be ready for sale in the shop very, very soon. please watch this space for details...
